Dead Island 2 and Big Daddy’s Burger Bar join forces so players can “Dine with the Dead”

Starting today, Dead Island 2 fans in Sydney can indulge in a taste of HELL-A and dine with the undead at Big Daddy’s Burger Bar in Newtown. The restaurant has been transformed to resemble the iconic Burger ‘66 diner from the game, and features a specially curated menu designed for the hungriest of zombie slayers. The menu is inspired by the game’s protagonists, including Jacob, Amy, Dani, Bruno, Ryan, and fan-favorite HELL-A local, Sam B.

Diners can sink their teeth into signature items such as the Burger ‘66 burger, Amy’s California Chill, Carla’s Charred Chicken Burger, Bruno’s Chilli Dawg, Dani’s Rockabilly Grande, and Nachos Ryan’s Way. Two special sauces have also been created to give the burgers an extra bite, including Sam B’s Louisiana Style Hot Sauce and Fury Mode Hot Sauce. For those who need to cool down, Amy’s California Chill features vanilla bean ice cream, peanut butter, chocolate syrup, strawberry syrup, whipped cream, and a cherry on top.

Liz Alexander, Senior Marketing & PR Manager at PLAION Australia, explained that the Dead Island 2 takeover celebrates the game’s vibrant, gore-drenched vision of LA, also known as ‘HELL-A.’ She added, “We look forward to welcoming all zombies and slayers alike to hack and slash their way into the Dine with the Dead menu ahead of the official launch of the game on April 21st.”

Big Daddy’s Burger Bar Area Manager, Eddie Sidhom, shared that the restaurant is thrilled to activate Dead Island 2 in their stores, creating a menu offering to die for and worthy of any zombie-slayer! The Dine with the Dead activation and menu will be available in store from April 14th-23rd, 2023, and for home delivery from Big Daddy’s website.

Dead Island 2 will release worldwide on April 21st, 2023, on Xbox Series X and Xbox One, PlayStation®5 and PlayStation®4 computer entertainment systems, and the Epic Games Store for PC.
